As I said in worship last week, I was retired from the active status as a clergy member of the Florida United Methodist Conference last Wednesday morning. The recognition of retirements took place the following day before the assembled delegates and visitors to the Annual Conference.

Here is a picture of Bishop Ken Carter presenting the official certificate to Kim and me on stage. As you can see, Kim doesn’t look like she should be married to a retiree!
