Thanks for all your care and concern about my little “incident” with a set of bleachers at Apopka High School. I made it through Rwanda, was able to come straight from the airport to Ash Wednesday worship, but apparently walking down bleachers is harder than one might think. To be fair, they weren’t all the way open so the steps were uneven (plus I was face-timing Grace so she could see Caroline’s competition and wasn’t looking where I was walking). It was a sprain and I pulled tendons, but all is healing nicely and I’ll be out of the boot by Sunday! Thanks to Pastor Corey and the worship team for covering for me. I don’t think preaching from a lounge chair would have set the right tone for our theme last week.
This week we hear Jesus speak words of hospitality to the thief on the cross next to him. It was these words of hospitality that assured the thief that he was in the presence of Christ on that very day…Click here to continue reading.
