Susse has been an active St. Luker since 1997 and joined the staff in 2018 as the Food and Beverage Coordinator. She coordinates special events requiring catering for small and large groups for church and the community.

As a volunteer Susse started the Circle of Friends in 1998 as an evening group for ladies who were still in the workforce but wanted to be a part of a UMW Circle.  She is the Director of Special Events for the St. Luke’s United Methodist Women (UMW), including, the Annual Bazaar, Ladies’ Tea, Rummage Sale, The Great Exchange and other workshops. She is the Manager of the NEW St. Luke’s United Methodist Women’s GIFT SHOP located on the church campus.

A graduate of Buffalo State University (BA) and University of Central Florida (MEd), Susse taught High School Art/Photography and Journalism in Central Florida. After receiving the Florida

Journalism Teacher of the Year,  she became a Florida Yearbook Representative for Taylor/ Balfour Publishing Company retiring in 2017 working with school student staffs all over Central Florida with their school Yearbooks.

Susse has been married to her husband Howard for over fifty years, they have one daughter (Robyn) and two grandchildren, Masen and Kinsey.
