Please join us in celebrating Missions’ new partnership with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP)!
As part of our Restoring Hope, we are so excited that Sleep in Heavenly Peace fits well with our commitment to sustainable and dignified housing to our neighbors.
Close to 800,000 children in the U.S. don’t have a bed. These children end up sleeping on floors – sometimes without a mattress. A bed is a basic need for the physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing of a child. SHP is a national organization answering the call to a national problem. They partner with organizations to build, assemble, and deliver top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need. NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN!®
At our September Bed Build – we had 180 volunteers who built 57 beds
Our next Bed Build day is coming up on
Saturday, May 3, 2025 where we will build 60 beds
Date: Saturday, May 3, 2025

Location: St. Luke’s front UMC parking lot

Check out the video to see how these beds are built and delivered.
