Sara and her family relocated to Orlando in June 2023 from northern Virginia, where she served families as a school social worker. They quickly found a home at St. Luke’s and became active in our community.

Sara brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having served as a social worker, therapist, educator, and even a Soldier. In addition to her work at St. Luke’s, she continues to support families and individuals in the community as a part-time psychotherapist. She holds a Master of Social Work from Boston University and a Bachelor’s in History Education from the University of South Dakota—where she also met her husband, Nathan.

Together, Sara and Nathan are raising three wonderful children—Emmett, Alex, and Juliette—alongside their three lively pups: Donut, Honey, and Buddy. When she’s not cheering on her kids at activities, Sara enjoys camping, beach days, and exploring the many amusement and nature parks Florida has to offer.
