Liz became a staff member at St. Luke’s in October of 2016. Prior to that, she was a math teacher in Orange County Public Schools for almost ten years.  She has strong ties to the Central Florida community and has been involved with many charities and non-profits throughout the years, serving on several boards and volunteering her time in the local church.

Although she was born in Chicago, Liz and her family moved to Central Florida when she was five years old. She also spent a few years in Puerto Rico which is where she graduated from High School.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Belhaven University, and a Master of Christian Ministries from Asbury Theological Seminary. As a lifelong learner, Liz is passionate about education and believes it is one of the best ways to promote change and growth in a society.

Liz and her husband Raphnel have 3 kids: Sophia, Xavier, and Zoë, who bring joy to them and all they encounter. As a family, they enjoy music, dancing, singing, reading, and traveling.
