St. Luke’s has partnered with Coalition for the Homeless, providing hot meals each third Saturday of the month to people experiencing homelessness in Central Florida.

While the St. Luke’s UMC and Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida campuses have modified their activities in recent years, St. Luke’s continues to provide the ingredients for a monthly dinner. Your generous support in making this possible is very much appreciated. 

Special Note: The Coalition for the Homeless Men’s Service Center (MSC) Kitchen and Dining Room have reopened!  So, we are back to cooking and serving our regular dinner menu, including cupcakes and more fruit varieties.

Our menu this month is Chicken, Beef/Turkey Smoked Sausage & Red Bean Jambalaya plus a small vegan version for the guests who do not eat meat.  We’ll get the chicken, bell peppers, and canned tomatoes in bulk and need your help with other ingredients and usual accompaniments to round out a balanced meal – beef or turkey smoked sausage (no pork), small red beans, vegetables, long grain rice, and fresh fruit – plus homemade desserts for a special treat.
