“Hark,” the herald angels sing, “Glory to the newborn King!”
Peace on earth and mercy mild, God and sinners reconciled.
Joyful all ye nations rise, join the triumph of the skies!
With angelic host proclaim, “Christ is Born in Bethlehem!”
“Hark,” the herald angels sing, “Glory to the newborn King!”
The campus is silent and all is well as Christmas eve services of 2021 come to a close.
In the stillness of the night…what the world has been waiting for has arrived.
Christ is born! Glory to the newborn King!
Peace has been born to us this holy, silent night.
Hope has slipped into the world with the light of a candle
Divine Joy has smiled on humanity
God’s story of LOVE has been delivered with the sound of a babe’s cry…
God Incarnate, Emmanuel, God with us.
We pray you have felt embraced by the warm light of the Christmas candle,
heard the echoes of the angel chorus and felt the presence of the Divine all around you.
This night, and every night, Christ Jesus invites you to simply make room in your heart
To receive this gift of love God wrote for you and for all of the world.
May you receive him and may God continue to write this love story in you and through you.
It is a blessing to serve you this season and throughout the year.
From the staff family of St. Luke’s. to all of you in our family of faith,
May you have a blessed Christmas full of joy and blessings from the newborn King.
We hope you will join us for one worship service, in person or online at 9:15 on December 26.
We will sing Christmas carols, hear poetry and celebrate that Christ is born!
Merry Christmas – Your Clergy Team and Staff
