Happy New Year, St. Lukers!
I pray that you are starting 2025 with the reminder that “it’s all good!” lingering in your ears from Christmas Eve. As I have been pondering that idea, I’ve really become aware that for me, what often makes it “good,” even when circumstances are not, is the people I’m sharing life with.
So, as we embark on a new year, I want to offer a word of encouragement to be sure you’re not beginning this year trying to go it alone. One of the great gifts that church offers us is chosen family–people who are walking alongside you, whether it’s through our Care or Missions Ministries, one of our ongoing groups, exercise classes, or in any of the plethora of other things that happen each week at St. Luke’s.
