Grace and Peace Beloved St. Lukers,
Christ is risen!
What a powerful Easter we had on Sunday at St. Luke’s! It was so great to see so many of you back in person all dressed up, worshiping and celebrating the living God. I saw families starting new traditions, families continuing generational traditions, and we welcomed many new people as they joined us in worship. Now that we are in Eastertide (50 days from Easter to Pentecost), and we have finished reading the book of Mark, we are moving on to Matthew. If you haven’t signed up to join the church-wide Bible study on Sunday nights, or listened to this week’s “Your Week with St. Luke’s” podcast episode, you can do so by clicking here.
This Sunday is going to be special! We will all be worshiping together at 9:30 a.m. on campus in the Sanctuary and live on Facebook. Our children and youth will be leading us in worship as we dive into our next Gospel, Matthew, and Jesus’ “Sermon on the Mount.” Along with supporting our youngest disciples, there will be three important announcements, so you will not want to miss it!
See you Sunday!
Pastor Jad
