Liz became a staff member at St. Luke’s in October of 2016. Prior to that, she was a math teacher in Orange County Public Schools for almost ten years.  She has strong ties to the Central Florida community and has been involved with many charities and non-profits throughout the years.  Most recently, she was the Project Coordinator for IDignity Osceola, an organization whose purpose is to restore dignity by providing identification. In addition, she has served on several boards and volunteered her time in the local church helping in a variety of areas.

Although she was born in Chicago, Liz and her family moved to Central Florida when she was five years old. She also spent a few years in Puerto Rico which is where she graduated from High School.  She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Belhaven University, and, just this year, completed her Master of Christian Ministries at Asbury Theological Seminary. As a lifelong learner, Liz is passionate about education and believes it is one of the best ways to promote change and growth in a society.

Liz and her husband Raphnel have a daughter named Sophia, and son named Xavier, who brings joy to them and all they encounter. As a family, they enjoy music, dancing, singing, reading, and road trips.
